Breaking the Vow of Silence

Today in the car I was listening to an audio when the presenter said, “And maybe you should consider taking a vow of silence about your spiritual practices.” NO!!! I shouted.  To myself. In the car.

I have taken too many vows of silence in other lifetimes. The vow of silence is so ingrained, it feels like a part of my DNA. That said, it is a beloved…most beloved, part.

If you asked me my thoughts about cats or the overdevelopment of land, I would blab your ears off. However, apart from a few subjects that elicit a rant, I prefer silence.

I struggle with this. I struggle with it a lot. It is challenging for me to speak publicly about what matters to me and spiritual subjects, spiritual practices matter. But this is the lifetime where it is my role to speak about them. Loud and proud.

I must speak about them to you.

Consciousness First

Business “how-to’s” are important, but far less important than most people think.  Business strategies are given power they do not possess.  The power of your business is in your consciousness.

Work on your inner state, especially self-compassion and self-love.  Your inner state is the most powerful business tool.

You become magnetic to what you desire, including the business you love and all its mechanics.
